High-Impact Succession Management: The Performance Model

Our most recent leadership research showed that a strong leadership pipeline is a critical driver of an organization’s business and talent outcomes. Yet, we found that only 39 per cent of all surveyed companies maintain a strong leadership pipeline for key positions, and many organizations still leave their succession activities up to chance. One of the possible reasons for the lack of focus may be that the multitude of possible actions around succession management may seem daunting for HR professionals. Therefore, we dug deeper into our data and identified the succession management practices that have shown to have the biggest impact on talent outcomes.

In this webinar, we explain the link between succession management and an organization’s leadership maturity. We then review key factors and dimensions of high-impact succession management before focusing on five leading performance drivers and five leading talent performance outcomes that organizations can expect when implementing them.
