Speaker Selection Criteria

The proposed session must clearly fit into one of the following conference tracks and be delivered by a speaker with substantial topic knowledge and experience, at a Director-level or above.

  • Linking leadership development to high-performing leads and teams
  • Growing leaders in emerging markets

Learning & Development

  • Linking new models of learning to business performance
  • Achieving a deep integration of social and mobile into learning strategy

Talent Acquisition

  • Connecting strong employment brands to strong talent acquisition pipelines
  • Preparing for the impact of a recovering economy on acquisition and retention

Talent Management

  • Moving diversity and inclusion from compliance to a focus on talent strategy
  • Devising talent strategies for the entire Open Talent Economy spectrum

HR Technology and Talent Analytics

  • Linking HR technology to lasting change
  • Adding the analytics talent needs to realize the potential of Big Data

Proposals are evaluated using the following criteria

  • Content that is current and practical, cutting edge or innovative as it relates to one of the conference tracks.
  • Case studies that demonstrate measurable business impact and results
  • All presenters MUST be practicing corporate executives with significant HR, training, talent, or workforce-related responsibility. Consultants and solution providers: please have your clients and/or in-house practitioners submit their proposals directly.

Most sessions are 75 minutes in length. Interactive formats are encouraged, where feasible. Proposals must be submitted according to the instructions below to be eligible.

Solution provider proposals must focus on the end user practices and results must include Director-level or above practitioner presenters/panelists.


Bersin by Deloitte staff will notify all speakers of an accepted or declined proposal via email by January 31, 2014.
